This role is for a forward thinking, technology driven company, working as part of a growing IT team. The role is part of the Desktop and application support team, to provide 2nd line support across a user base of approx. 5000. Alongside having to provide 2nd line desktop support there is also a focus on Application Packaging, due to the nature of the business and the user size, it's important all applications are all applications and plug ins are deployed remotely, and silently.

The main function of the role is to provide a mixture of Desktop support, while being responsible for the roll out of business wide system configuration changes, and package applications to be installed silently. There will also be an expectancy to roll out and manage desktop infrastructure systems.

They are looking for candidates who have the below experience.

- Significant experience in end user desktop support.

- Experience of automated software installations.

- Application virtualisation experience ideally with App-V.

- Experience with SCCM.

- Knowledge and support experience of Windows 10.

- Experience using software packaging technology.

The role is urgent with the client ideally looking for somebody to start early in December, however they can be flexible if needed to accommodate a notice period. The role is office based and paying c£29,000.
