Disaster Recovery Architect (DR, Financial Services, Infrastructure) - Swindon - 4 Months
My client, a large technology and outsourcing organisation are looking for 2 Disaster Recovery Architects to join them in Swindon. The role will be working closely with a Financial Services customer on an initial 4 month contract with a view to extend. The role can offer from £500-£575 per day.
Role Background:
* You will be responsible for using the data collected from ITDR tests to determine the areas that need more focus and provide your recommendations on improving recovery times based on the technology used.
* You will also investigate systems on the DR waiver list to determine if further initiatives can be provided to remediate resilience risks.
* As part of the role you will be expected to analyse recovery procedures to ensure the customer can recover to a consistent data point across multiple systems within the eco-system they operate in.
Required Skills:
* Candidates should be well versed with the design and build of recovery for applications and infrastructure.
* Prior experience across a range of platforms including; SoR, SoE (Digital and Legacy) e.g. Wintel, Unisys and SAP.
* Any exposure to Netback would be beneficial.
* Candidates should also be eligible and willing to undergo a background check prior to going on site.
