Application Support Technician

Circa £30k - £40k + Benefits*

Cambridge

We are searching for an experienced Application Support Specialist to join a talented team who support our client's market leading product in Cambridge. This will be a customer facing role, working to support incoming requests, and to provide expert insights into installation, configuration, architecture and performance of the application.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be situated with an excellent oversight to customer's needs, and work with this award-winning technology to implement and deliver solutions. You will be autonomous to research the right technical solution from any issue's forthcoming.

Key technical knowledge required:

*Authentication systems (for example LDAP, AD, SSO)

*Proficiency in configuration and administration of Linux / Windows servers

*SSL and PKI

*Configuration management tools (such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef)

*System architecture

*Web server

*Proxy configuration

*JavaScript / JSON / HTML / CSS / XML

*Python / Java (or ideally 1 programming language known)

Key experience and attributes additionally sought:

*Experience in a customer facing role

*Excellent communicator

*Attention to detail

There is an on-call rota within this role to support the continuous operation of the client's product.
