Test Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated system test engineer who will be pivotal in delivering the next range of high end embedded products.

He/she should be able to function within a highly talented, specialized team environment with limited supervision and is expected to coordinate with others to accomplish project tasks. These will include:

* Creating and reviewing test cases based on analysis of requirements

* Creating, reviewing and executing test plans

* Maintaining and reporting correct test records and status

* Developing automated script-based testing where appropriate

* Contributing to the continual improvement of quality assurance and testing procedures

* Working with the software development team to improve quality assurance across the whole software development lifecycle

Minimum requirements:

* Product testing experience

* Experience in the concepts and practical application of software/product development lifecycle

* Proven experience to work in teams

Preferred Skills

* Sailing navigation experience and boat handling skills (power and/or sail)

* Design, documentation and ongoing change management of test plans and strategies

* Experience using issue tracking and work flow tools

* ISEB/ISTQB Foundation certificate in software testing

* Software development experience, including the creation of automated test scripts and systems
