Technical Consultant - Up to 35,000

International Software House

Southampton, Eastleigh

Highly established software solutions provider / integrator with an extensive client base across the UK, Europe and the US (a mix of large corporate clients and government departments), is looking to recruit a Technical Consultant. Joining an IT team of circa 30, you will be responsible for working on external projects, completing complex system and workflow configuration, including common scripting languages, testing, deployment, user training and documentation of bespoke software applications. Their software covers financial systems, invoice processing, document management and bespoke business solutions.

Technical environment:

Ability to write SQL queries

Software configuration / deployment

Trouble shooting

Software training

Desirable skills: XML, XSLT, SSRS, SSIS, DTS

This role is based out of Eastleigh near Southampton, but you will be required to visit client sites from time to time in the UK and possibly overseas.

Salary: up to 35K

Benefits: 20 days holiday, rising year on year up to max of 25, health care, company bonus, training, career progression.
