Marketing & Communications Specialist

£40,000 - £45,000

My Client is a FTSE-250 Defence & Engineering company responsible for a vast variety of supportive services globally. Currently they are recruiting within their marine division based in Rosyth and are interested in hearing from candidates with Communications and Marketing experience to provide continuity of service to customers and a wide range of support to the sector.

This role is based at my clients Rosyth site, where they undertake engineering projects across Naval and Commercial Marine, Oil and Gas, Renewables and Specialised Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

* Working closely with the Communications Business Partners, support the development of strategic and tactical marketing plans aligned to business winning, strategic development and growth objectives.

* Liaise with and influence key internal stakeholders to identify and shape future opportunities for marketing communication initiatives, as well as identifying those that best support an integrated company message

* Identify, develop and deliver external PR and media activity that underpin and enhance campaigns and strategic priorities

* Provide insight into PR & media opportunities and provide support to emerging communication issues

* Assist with external communications, including collating data for media releases and supporting media facilities.

* Support business on crisis communication through taking part in training and forward planning of crisis response

This role involves good time management and personal work prioritisation. The person who fulfils the role will also be one of the main comms contacts for implementing and driving Continuous Improvement within the team.

* Creative mind with experience of supporting business winning teams

* Ability to manage multiple projects consistently

* Experience within a commercial environment i.e corporate, agency ect.
