Consultant / Senior Consultant - High Voltage Networks

Our client is an established company that provides high quality products and services to power networks across the globe. Their solutions include their Asset Management and Policy service, which provides customers with comprehensive technical support on electrical network assets and asset management.
Now, they’re looking for a Consultant / Senior Consultant to join their Power Forensic Team and investigate customers’ power failures.

The Role
As the Consultant / Senior Consultant, you’ll perform power forensic and failure investigations, taking ownership of projects from initial customer contact, through to completion and reporting.
In this important role, you will:
- Gain an understanding of customers’ requirements and issues
- Oversee the completion of planning, the strip-down of assets, evidence collation, reporting, project clean-up and closure
- Provide customers with project updates
- Drive continuous improvements within the Power Forensics function
About You
To be considered as a Consultant / Senior Consultant, you’ll need:
- Excellent knowledge of High Voltage networks and assets, specifically condition assessment, degradation and failure mechanisms of a variety of electrical assets
- A BEng in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- An analytical mindset
Ideally, you’ll also have IET status, but this isn’t essential.
