Exciting opportunity to join a dynamic profitable company developing a world leading health app that has already had more than 2.5 million downloads to date. They are looking to hire an experienced Android developer to drive their native Android app design and development - both Front-end and Back-end. This person must have a real focus on design and UX, as well as development.

Experience / Skills required:

-Experienced Android developer with published examples of mobile applications.

-Techniques to support latest Android OS features whilst providing backward compatible alternatives.

-Proven experience in supporting varying screen sizes, devices and Android themes.

-Implementing Material Design and well designed UI.

-Excellent knowledge of the most common third-party library used in Android projects.

-Working with small teams and/or startups

-Excellent communication and project management skills.

-Proven experience working with Java and Android SDK.

-Git / Git Flow and pull / push lifecycle methodologies

-Passion for health and science is a plus
