Our client is an independent international development organisation that uses data to tackle poverty and drive sustainable development.

They played a key role in establishing IATI, a global initiative striving to improve the transparency of development and humanitarian resources and their results for addressing poverty and crises.

Our client is now looking for a Business and Data Analyst to join them in Bristol and support IATI.

Your Role

As a Business and Data Analyst, you will be tasked with delivering and supporting processes for those who use IATI, monitoring uploads to their website and supporting relationships across our community.

Specifically, you will work closely with the IATI Technical Team and support organisations who are publishing data to IATI, helping them through each step in the publishing process.

You will work to improve the quality and usefulness of data, develop guidance and training material for both publishers and data users and support the ongoing maintenance of the IATI standards.

Your role will also involve:

- Working collaboratively with stakeholder groups, institutions and individuals across the IATI network

- Establishing strong relationships within the community

- Collecting and analysing relevant data

- Writing and updating content

- Supporting the management of the IATI Technical Team

About You

To be considered as a Business and Data Analyst, you will need:

- Previous experience in a technical support role

- Data analysis or business analysis experience

- A strong level of IT literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications

- A degree (or equivalent)
