Spring Technology is currently recruiting for an SC or DV cleared Cyber Security Consultant, to join our client in Milton Keynes on an initial 6 month assignment.

Our client is looking for a Cyber Security Consultant, with a specialism in ISO27001 audits, to provide a cost efficient and modernized cyber security and assurance service, fitting within the wider cyber security strategy determined by the CISO. You will be required to provide expert advice on cyber security strategy, as well as assure all accreditation related matters, and engaging with third party suppliers and partners to ensure accreditation compliance.

If you can design, develop and deliver a highly effective cyber security, information assurance and accreditation strategy on behalf of the CISO to drive improvements across the wider department, as well as advising key stakeholders on any perceived changes in risk and also drive the ISO 27001 certification for the business, ensuring compliance with emerging standards and security principles, then our client would be very interested in hearing from you.

Essential Skills Needed:

* Qualification in an Information Security related area such as CISSP, CCP CESG, Certified Ethical Hacker.

* ISO 27001 Audits / Implementation (Master implementer certificate)

* Strong history in Information Security or Information Assurance based roles, working with key stakeholders, up to C-Level.

* General Cyber Security knowledge including: Cryptography, IP Protocols, Network Architectures and Mapping, Fingerprinting.

* Background information gathering.

* Microsoft Windows / Unix security assessments

* SC or DV Clearance
