Our client is a £4billion t/o independent provider of IT infrastructure and services.

A rare and exceptional opportunity has arisen for Senior Sales Account Managers to join our client’s Major Accounts Teams.

This role involves leading the development of our client’s business within some of the world’s Largest Conglomerates.

Based at one of our multiple offices throughout the UK

The prospective senior sales account manager will show a strong track record in new business development and senior account management across large enterprise scale clients - ideally of an international nature, with strong experience shown across product sourcing and professional service engagements (consultancy, project and programme management) and be able to communicate at all levels within an organisation while being at ease working across different geographies and cultures.

Ideally you will have experience of growing into new business lines, as well commercial and contractual astuteness to support the Client director in commercial negotiations.

Role Responsibility

Primary focus:

The sales account managers lead and grow transformational (consultancy) and strategic international supply chain opportunities within a global customer, part of our Major Sector. Maintain and develop key stakeholder relationships across your territory.

Secondary focus:

Provide leadership to Account team members while developing strategic relationships with global vendors and supporting the Client Director with strategic contracted service opportunities

A key part of this role is net Sales Growth, and subsequently you should have a demonstrable track record of identifying, winning and delivering new business sales.

Experience in leading teams (direct and virtual).

The Ideal Candidate:

You will have experience in managing complex sales campaigns, to engage, build and maintain relationships at a senior level, with the ability to adapt to customer requirements. You will have proven experience of working in a highly customer and business focused environment, with a strong commercial, legal and financial understanding.

This role will be a mixture of Account Management and driving a new business revenue stream.
