Junior Embedded Software Engineers are highly sought by my Cambridge based client to work on the design and development of software for their digital subscriber line system on chip. If successful you will be tasked with simulating the hardware using C++ and developing the firmware for system applications and new processors.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior embedded software engineer who is looking to gain experience working on a diverse product range that targets a variety of industry and technology sectors.
Successful embedded software engineers must have at least 1 years commercial experience working in software development, a strong academic background with a 1st or 2:1 degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or similar discipline and hands on experience with the following;
* C/C++ programming
* Embedded Software/Firmware development environments
* Experience on Real Time Operating Systems (Linux preferred)
