Leading eCommerce is seeking a Senior Software Developer to help build enhancements for the company's eCommerce web platform that serves millions of customers worldwide. You will be responsible for evaluating new technologies, building proof-of-concepts, conducting code reviews and mentoring more junior team members whilst utilising the latest technology (including Java 8, Spring MVC, AKKA and Play).

Requirements:

*Strong core Java development skills including Java 8

*Knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases (Oracle, Cassandra)

*Previous experience designing scalable server-side web applications

*Familiar with Akka or Play

*Excellent communication and collaboration skills

*Previous experience mentoring others
