We’re looking for an IT SAP Consultant who’s passionate about helping to connect both people and networks. Working closely with everyone involved, you’ll ensure that our systems can support the ever-changing needs of our business. This is a great opportunity to work closely with Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and have a significant impact on the work we do.

What you’ll be doing

As part of a small on-site team, it’ll be your responsibility to provide end-to-end SAP solutions for the Sales function. Joining us as an IT SAP Consultant, you’ll be working within our established SAP environment on Sales and Distribution (SD) and Vehicle Management Systems (VMS), looking at analysis, design, implementation, maintenance and operations. You’ll need to use a range of project management methodologies, and as an experienced IT SAP Consultant you’ll be adept at recognising when ‘Waterfall’ might be best or when ‘Agile’ would be more suitable. There will also be opportunities to work on international projects with both internal and external teams.

Qualifications and experience

Who we’re looking for

You’ll be certified in SAP SD and hold a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject. You’ll also have experience as an IT SAP Consultant within a large company. If you have previous automotive experience that’s a plus, but it’s not as important as your technical skills. We’re also looking for someone with VMS experience or a strong desire to grow in this area, and we can offer on-the-job training and support if this is needed. Once you’re up to speed, you’ll be able to enjoy a lot of autonomy, as well as having the chance to collaborate across teams. Your previous experience will include knowledge of sales functions, getting hands-on with at least one SAP rollout and a strong understanding of business process in Sales and Distribution.
