Job Title: Commercial Analyst/Traffic Analyst

Location: London (E1)

Salary: £21,000 - £25, 000 p.a. dependant on experience + Benefits (25 days holiday, Pension, Healthcare and Life Assurance)

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (Tues - Sat, 9.00am - 5.30pm)

The Company provide customised telephony solutions for a wide range of telecoms carriers and for some of the world's biggest brands. With over 300 active interconnects, they provides a full range of termination and origination services throughout the world. They are also working with some of the best known brands to deliver cutting edge products which provide real value to both the brand owner and end-user.

They have an excellent opportunity for a Commercial/Traffic Analyst at their head office in the city working 37½ hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Operations, you will be responsible for optimising routing efficiency to assist with the margin and revenue growth and supporting all functions of the Traffic Management department.

Main responsibilities:

* Analysing daily traffic reports for loss making routes and amend routing where necessary.

* Maintain quality on all routing tables and raise fault tickets where necessary.

* Identify potential sales opportunities.

* Maintain an efficient LCR (least cost routing) table.

* Maintain the floor pricing across all routing tables.

* Enter costs and exclusions into our internal systems where necessary.

* Provide support on major retail products such as the Tesco Calling Card.

* Liaise effectively with all the Company's internal departments; engineering, billing, customer services, sales, buying and the senior management team.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will ideally (but not essentially) have previous knowledge of the telecoms industry and/or worked in a similar role before. You will have good working knowledge of Microsoft packages (Outlook, Word and Excel) along with strong analytical skills and an excellent attention to detail. The ability to use your own initiative, along with having good communication and interpersonal skills and a proven experience working in a team are also key for this position.
