A Senior Server Engineer is required by prestigious organisation in their Farnborough offices.

As the Senior Server Engineer you will define, design and develop IT systems. You will technically lead and provide technical guidance to projects across the business and providing technical consultancy into new proposals.

Essential Skills for the Senior Server Engineer:

* Eligible for or hold SC clearance

* Degree in Engineering, Science, Maths or equivalent experience

* Systems design experience of IT Systems

* Proven track record of IT integration

* Highly skilled in the design and build of VMWare ESXi (preferably VCP6.0 or later)

* Highly skilled in the design and build of Microsoft Servers 2012 or above

* Experience in systems integration taking in to account network requirements for server infrastructure

* Experience of leading/mentoring junior team members

* Skilled in requirement capture for IT systems

* Configuration of servers and other IT systems

* Prior experience of deploying and supporting Enterprise Infrastructure services including messaging, directory, storage and back-up

* Experience of lock downs

Desirable Skills for Senior Server Engineer:

* Ideally you will be MCSE or MCSA

* Knowledge of JSP 604 and 440 and the associated JSPs
