Mein Kunde ist ein weltweit agierendes Unternehmen mit der europäischen Zentrale in Frankfurt am Main. Im Bereich der Unterhaltungsindustrie setzt mein Kunde Standards und entwickelt, produziert und vermarktet seine Soft- und Hardware.
Zur Unterstützung des Netzwerk- und Datacenter Teams sucht man nun einen (Senior) Network Engineer (m/w)
Ihre Aufgaben:
* Responsibility for the administration and operation of the enterprise local-area/wide-area/wireless networks (LAN/WAN/WLAN) according to defined quality requirements
* Continuous improvement of current processes and systems
* Development of future connectivity, networking concepts and solutions. Including the evaluation of new technologies
* Lead projects within the area of responsibility and contribute to cross-functional projects
Ihr Profil:
* University degree in IT or comparable qualification
* Profound knowledge in the area of enterprise networking technologies/protocols (Switching, Routing, Wireless Technologies, Network Protocols (e.g. OSPF, BGP), Network Security)
* Significant experience in the architecture and design of corporate network solutions in a global environment (MPLS, SDN/SD-WAN, IPsec, VPN)
* Hands-on experience installing and commissioning SD-WAN/SDN in a global corporate environment
* IPv6 knowledge and experience
* Experience in designing, operating, analyzing, and troubleshooting large corporate networks
* Experience in cooperation with external partners and service providers
* Hands-on experience in writing requirement documents (RFP)
* Strong work planning, very good project management and implementation skills
* Excellent written and spoken English and German skills
* Vendor qualifications/certifications (e.g. Alcatel Lucent, Cisco, AWS)
* Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels in the company and with various business contacts outside of the company in an articulate and professional manner
