Senior C# developer with a passion for mathematics. Excellent high tech company in Dublin who are online-led and mobile-led. They use innovation and the latest technologies to make great products that are used worldwide with over 5 million customers. To deliver these projects, the team leverages the latest .NET technologies, real-time web, NoSql databases.

The Senior .Net developer will work closely with a team of quantitative analysts to develop cutting-edge software from sophisticated risk systems to high-volume, real-time data aggregation and price setting. You will find yourself immersed in an innovative and challenging environment with daily opportunities to broaden your skill-set and experience.

Strong C# Coding expertise

Deep understanding of OOP

Exposure to Test Driven Development

Proven experience using TPL, multithreading and async/await

Developed parallel processing systems

MS SQL Server

Entity Framework or similar ORM

WebApi services, with experience in creating self-hosted services e.g. using OWIN

Developing and fine tuning performance-critical software that scales.

Developing distributed systems and messaging systems, e.g. RabbitMQ

Advantageous skills

Exposure to Cloud a bonus

Experience of Javascript and JQuery desirable

Commercial knowledge of producing HPC solutions a bonus

Experience of C and C++ a bonus

Design and develop trading applications in C#. Write high quality, scalable, maintainable code using industry best practices. Write high performance code. Work with a talented Quants team to leverage models into revenue-generating trading applications. Research and learn cutting edge development practices and technologies to improve processes. Plan and make technological decisions that mitigate operational risk in the medium to long term . Mentor junior team members. Be a team player - take ownership of code and responsibility for the team's work and reputation.
