Senior Software Developer (Java 8 Python Linux Docker R&D). Would you like to work on Greenfield projects within a collaborative R&D technology start-up that is utilising AI and Machine Learning techniques to build a cutting edge API intrusion and security threat detection system that can predict attacks rather than just reacting to them?

As a Senior Software Developer you'll be prototyping and designing innovative solutions to cyber security problems, working closely with the research team. Activities will include optimising software to minimise latency; transforming software produced by researchers into production ready code and integrating the product with SIEMs and other security systems. You'll be working with a modern technology stack including Java 8, AWS and Python within a microservices architecture.

You'll join a small, highly talented team of academics and technologists within a collegiate team environment; shared start-up offices based in the City with a range of facilities and the latest kit.

Requirements:

*Passionate and collaborative technologist, keen to work in a start-up / R&D environment

*Degree educated; Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, Information Security or equivalent experience

*Advanced core Java development skills ideally including Java 8

*Good working knowledge of Linux OS

*Python experience

*Familiar with Docker, CI/CD and microservices architectures

*Interest in security issues
