My Education Client are currently looking for a Web Architect to join them on a 3 month contract with possible extensions. This is an interesting project using up to date technology in a growing sector.

The successful candidate will develop an architecture and roadmap to underpin the expansion and Development of web, content management and collaboration services for our client. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of defining application and infrastructure architectures in a complex environment, with a particular focus on web presentation, content management and collaboration.

Essential Skills:

*Recognised industry certification in enterprise or IT architecture

(e.g. TOGAF)

*Proven experience of developing successful application, data

and technology architectures in complex environments

*Proven experience of developing successful architectures for

web-based technologies and services

*Proven experience of developing successful architectures for

content management and collaboration solutions

*Proven experience of developing viable roadmaps that have

led to successful implementations of the defined architectures

*Experience of IT in the Higher Education sector

*Extensive knowledge of web-based platforms, frameworks,

standards and current products

*Extensive knowledge of content management and

collaboration solutions

*Knowledge and understanding of ecommerce services,

including the requirements of PCI-DSS

*Awareness of security considerations in relation to web

products and services, and the ability to address these in

architectures

*Knowledge of integration solutions

*Proven ability to turn business requirements into technology

solutions.

*Excellent written communication skills

*Proven skill at documenting architectures, including the

development of viewpoints and views to address stakeholder

requirements.

*Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills, including

the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels in an

organisation

*The ability to work to deadlines

*The ability to work independently, defining and meeting

suitable objectives to deliver the required outcomes.
