Software Architects are highly sought by my Cambridge based client to work on the development, design and architecture of a brand-new product. This is a rare opportunity to get involved and influence the design direction in relation to 5G telecommunications products. There is also the opportunity for the Software Architect to take on some line management responsibilities and grow their own team over the course of the next few years.
The successful Software Architect must be able to demonstrate the following;
How they would approach the task of creating a brand-new design architecture and communicating this to the wider organisation
In-depth knowledge of embedded Linux, ideally down at driver levels
Understanding of networking protocols; TCP, IP, UDP, SNMP and Ethernet
