BI Analyst

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Intelligence / BI Analyst to join a successful and expanding team based in Letchworth Garden City. My client are an industry leading, cutting edge business and are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence / BI Analyst to assist in the company's transition to the Cloud and Microsoft stack and implement Office 365, using Power BI as the main BI tool.

Key responsibilities for the successful Business Intelligence / BI Analyst:

· Gather BI requirements and deliverer high quality and accurate business objects universe and reporting

· Build on the existing data warehouse by reviewing existing silo databases and building integrations

· Build standards to improve data visibility and quality

· Offer improvements to database structure during technical meetings

· Build and maintain collaborative working-relationships with project stakeholders

Essential skills and experiences required for the role of Business Intelligence / BI Analyst:

· ETL processes including knowledge of data warehousing strategies and theories

· SQL for querying, function creation or view/table creation

· The Microsoft BI stack, especially SSIS/SSAS/SSRS processes

· Understanding Dimensional modelling in integrated data sets or DWH

· (Desirable) Knowledge of other BI products including cloud solutions (i.e Power BI)

Salary: £35k - £45k depending on experience + brilliant company benefits!
