C, C++/ Linux Contract Software Engineer needed, N Manchester.

We are looking for two contract Software Engineers for an established and expanding Engineering company in north Manchester.

The Engineers will be involved in development, enhancements, maintenance of a new & high profile project. Previous exposure to embedded devices with C++ on Linux is needed.

This will be for a six month contracts with a view to be extended. Some flex of start/Finish times can be offered if needed. Candidates need to be able to start within the next 2-3 weeks.

Skills & experience we are looking for include:

C++ 14

Programming on Linux

Embedded system knowledge

Linux systems - (Buildroot used)

Good serial comms experience

Bash scripting, init scripts

Overall system configuration experience

Desirable skills include:

Communicating to hardware through low-level protocols
