Driver Technician - Technology 

Field Based (covering London)

They are currently looking for a dedicated Driver Technician to join their team delivering and installing high-quality equipment throughout London. 

The Role 

Our client has an opportunity in London for a tech savvy Driver Technician to provide support to their team. They are interested in individuals who love to be on the road helping clients with their IT and AV rental needs. This position reports to the onsite National Technical Manager, and is based at our client’s Acton, London office. 

Key Role Responsibilities 

- Client Rental Order Fulfilment - Completely and effectively action client orders from equipment selection & preparation (in-house), to required deliveries, collections, installation and networking in client sites and venues across the UK 

- Technical Support - Providing ongoing support both in person and over the phone to our clients with maintenance, servicing and troubleshooting requirements 

The position will require after-hours, on-call and weekend work from time to time for which you will be rewarded. 

Key Role Requirements: 

- At least two years’ experience with one employer within the last six years 

- Exceptional customer service skills 

- Wide ranging technology skills 

- Strong attention to detail 

- Exceptional planning and organisational skills 

- The ability to maintain a valid driving licence and a good driving record 

This role will involve delivering and installing heavy equipment.
