Security Consultant - Circa £45,000

Southampton

World leading geospatial data and technology organization is expanding their security team in Southampton and are looking for a Security Consultant. You will be responsible for providing cyber security advice and guidance to the business, projects and IT teams.

If you possess some of the following skills, we want to hear from you:

Network security, Windows and Linux platforms

Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, Oracle)

One or more Cyber Security Certifications: CISSP, SSCP, CISM

Consulting skills

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Role Overview

As the successful Security Consultant, you will be conducting gap analysis and risk assessment, as well as participate in the central control team, providing advice and guidance during major incidents. Keep up to date with relevant external technical and threat development to ensure delivery of security related advice, consultancy and training through the virtual security community.

Salary: Circa 45K

Benefits: Bonus, 37 hour working week, 25 days, rising to 30 days holiday, training and development, free parking, flexi hours and more.
