Java Developer (OOP Algorithm Low Latency Trading Java J2SE Mathematics). Opportunity to earn significant bonuses (c100%+) and receive valuable finance training at a massively profitable Hedge Fund ($3.5 billion under management) whilst enjoying a good work / life balance.

This is a varied and challenging role in a fast paced company, as a senior Java Developer you will design, develop and implement trade / execution algorithms, real-time price feeds, order management, position reporting and reconciliation with brokers and other third parties. You'll interact directly with the business, working with quants, brokers and back office staff. Your role will focus on serverside Java development but you'll also gain exposure to Python and the C# GUI.

You will be working in a small, Agile type team with a great deal of autonomy; there's a non-corporate working atmosphere with informal dress and regular sociable events, based in fantastic Central London offices with a good work / life balance, regular hours 0800 - 1700.

No finance experience required but you must have a desire to learn, company will pay for relevant FCA qualifications such as CF30.

Requirements:

*Smart, analytical, logical with a passion for software engineering

*Strong object orientated core Java development experience

*Disciplined approach to software design and release

*Experience of working on high volume, highly transactional systems

*Excellent communication skills

*2.1 or above from a top tier university in Computer Science or highly numerate subject, must have a good understanding of mathematics and algorithm development

*Desirable: KDB, Linux command line, C#, Python
