Senior Support Engineer - 3rd Line Support
High Holborn, London

Our client is recruiting on behalf of a leading and rapidly-growing IT support business. Due to ongoing success, they’re now looking for a Senior Support Engineer to join their team.
As the Senior Support Engineer, you will:
- Primarily assist with the implementation and documentation of projects
- Ensure that customers receive a high quality service and swiftly address any issues
- Prioritise your workload and assist junior engineers with theirs
- Maintain up-to-date and detailed notes of your work
- Occasionally work on the Helpdesk
- Be sent to client sites to scope and cost technical solutions
Interested?
To be considered, you’ll need experience in a 3rd line support role. Experience of the following technologies is also essential:
- MS Windows Server management and support
- Hyper V and other virtualization platforms
- Exchange Server management and support
- Office 365 and Azure migration and management
- Network and firewall infrastructure management and deployment
- Active Directory and group policy management
- Monitoring customer servers and performing preventative maintenance
- Deployment of managed Anti-Virus and Backup solutions
- Server infrastructure deployment and configuration
- Cyber security and GDPR
Microsoft qualifications relevant to Cloud, Office 365 and Azure technology are also essential.
