Skills and experience:

* A proven and successful background in business analysis with also some project management expertise. An in-depth knowledge of at least one relevant business sector. May be a noted expert in a particular functional or industry sector area.

* Must demonstrate experience in a broad range of business analysis skills from requirements analysis to business process improvement to use case analysis

* Consulting experience with major clients on client sites,

* Demonstrable experience of working on projects or assignments, with evidence of responsibility to deliver in time pressured and complex technical or intense stakeholder environments.

* Experience at leading business change initiatives

* Experience and delivery of the processes and products involved in successful planning and implementation of business change.

* Demonstrating adaptability in the application of standard management frameworks, managing multiple stakeholders and building relationships.

* Commercial skills with a proven understanding of bidding and contract management / award. Experience of investment appraisals, business case development.

* Problem identification, report writing, recommending actions working knowledge of financial processes and ability to report financial data would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Expected to take lead roles in client or business delivery assignments, with responsibility for achieving client satisfaction, producing deliverables to expected quality and within commercial constraints and on occasions managing teams of consultants.

* Will need to build and maintain strong client relationships as will be often embedded in the client's delivery teams working directly with client staff and consultants from other organisations.

* Contribute and collaborate with a range of stakeholders routinely. Being adaptable and flexible to suit the circumstances, being prepared to work either at a high-level or at a detailed level when its required.

* Delivery of high quality, innovative client solutions with the full support of the consulting teams.

* Will play a prominent role in business development by identifying and exploiting new business opportunities, developing client relationships, contributing to business development strategies, business tenders and sales activities.

The right candidate will have the ability to juggle a range of parallel tasks, whilst remaining professional and amenable.

The right candidate will also be:

* A self-motivated and confident

* Encourages collaboration within client and can lead by example.

* Has a wealth of delivery experience either as a business analyst, business change manager or consultant. Who can demonstrate how to be influential, assertive and diplomatic.

* Does not accept things at face value but is analytical with problem-solving skills.

* Excellent communicator, verbal (ability to listen) and written (able to write concisely) including the production of technical documents.

* Focussed on outcomes and not put off by disappointment and can stand up to pressure from client stakeholders.

* Fully politically aware.
