Job: Network & Telephony Engineer

Duration: 6 months

Location: Cork

Day rate: DOE

My client is Cork is seeking an experienced Network & Telephony contractor to assist with number of projects including an AVAYA System upgrade and roll out. This is an immediate requirement for 6 months with high chance of extension beyond the 6 month mark.

Duties

* Administration of ticketing system - troubleshooting incidents and closing out requests.

* Patch Management

* Network monitoring

* Telephony - manage the third party supplier in delivering effective incident management processes

* Network Access Control

* Manage the day to day ticketing system for the team

* Change Management

Technical skills

* Avaya 55xx Switches, Passport 8800's, Avaya Aura, Nice call recording

* Solarwinds and third party management tools

* Manage / operate the Network Access Control technology

* Basic networking and routing principles.

* ISP framework & delivery of WAN networks.

* Fundamentals of ISO27001 : 2013 Standard

* Ability to interpret technical out from Vulnerability Assessments

* Ability to detect and respond to Compliance breach
