The company:

My client are a medical device company based in Cork, a forefront company in their field. They are based in Cork City and have over 400 professionals here. They've been in Ireland over 25 years and are their products touch the lives of more than 260 million patients yearly. An opportunity has come up within the company as Head of Quality within the company.

The role:

You will be responsible for managing and directing the Quality Assurance Departments of including Quality Systems, Quality Control, Quality Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, Complaint Handling and Laboratory Services. You will ensure that products manufactured and established systems comply with GMP, ISO and applicable regulatory and company requirements. The management team will report into you.

You will also provide direction on the use of quality systems and tools with a focus on process improvements and act as the Facility Management Representative.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quality Manager in a medical device company who is keen to progress can manage a large group of people and handle very diverse responsibilities.

Your profile:

You have experience as a Quality Manager within the medtech industry and can embed a culture of compliance and quality standards across the company. You have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality or relevant Science discipline (level 8). At least 5 years of your work in quality has been at supervisory/management level within the medical device industry.
