Lead Java Developer - Bristol - Up to £75000

This market dominant commerce client are currently undergoing a digital upgrade and as a result have a huge demand for a hands on client intermediary who is capable of being an ambassador for the client and is able to show their work.

With current client in retail banking, they are focusing on much of the 'thread-work' and are expecting to find themselves covering even more project requirements.

This role isn't too focussed on the 'head down developer' but is looking to fill a Lead position in which you will take ownership of you teams work and the planning towards the project having liaised with designers, architects and clients.

You would require:

* Experience working with Java 8, Micro services and Spring boot.

* Experience being the point of call for project development with a keen interest in expansive thinking and always asking 'How can we make this better for the customers'.

* The ability to successfully handle the 'difficult' conversations with key clients, including what is possible and not effective when looking at their products.
