Spring Technology's client, a public sector organisation, are currently looking to recruit an iOS Developer for an initial 5 month contract on a rate of c.£400-450/day (outside of IR35) based in Edinburgh.

The Role:

The post-holder will work as part of a team and report directly to the Head of Enterprise Applications. The successful candidate will support the development and maintenance of a bespoke application for an iPad, adding new features and correcting faults when needed.

Requirements:

* Development and deployment of iOS software in Objective C and Swift 4.

* Mixed Objective C and Swift projects.

* Core Data (including background processing, context merging, schema migration)

* NSOperation, NSOperationQueue, GCD.

* NSURLSession/NSURLConnection (in particular, configuration of these especially around timeouts and authentication).

* BDD Unit testing.

* UI testing.

* Debugging and Instruments.

* iOS application provisioning and signing (Enterprise applications).

Desirable Skills:

* Fastlane build system.

* Jenkins CI.

* Airwatch iOS SDK.

* PDF processing and annotating with PSPDFKit.

* Quick and Nimble for BDD testing.

* iAnnotate PDF annotation library.
