A SQL/VBA Developer is required for an initial 3 month contract based in Glasgow.
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
*Strong experience in SQL and VBA
*Experience in designing and building user interface application and back-end databases using programming languages and scripting languages - including data prep, identification of appropriate analytic and statistical methodologies, model development and documentation of process and results To allow the industrialisation of an existing excel based tool.
*Support the development and act as point of escalation for reporting of the Capacity Planning tool
*Experience in contributing to the continued development of the wider team's tools and processes.
*Championing internal standards and ensuring controls are adhered to
*Ensuring relevant team documentation is kept current, version-controlled and stored in the agreed location
*Designing and develop Excel based custom reports
*Developing application verification and testing plans
*Identification of performance issues and devising solutions to these problems
*Identification and recommendation of new methods and opportunities for improvement
*Solution design that complies to GDPR protocols
*Solution design that complies to Security protocols
*Understanding of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity design requirements
