Solutions Delivery Manager

We are looking for 2 Solution Delivery Managers to work in our Glasgow City Centre and Dalkeith offices. The roles are within the Business Systems Directorate in our Applications Solutions team and have responsibility for leading, managing, coaching and mentoring of cross functional engineers towards delivering timely, high quality software / products and services. In order to do this you must be able to demonstrate experience in the following specific duties:

-Team Leadership and ability to grow a team

-Lead the implementation of new technology and processes.

-Excellent understanding of Agile/Scrum

-Establishing and encouraging a healthy, collaborative engineering culture in line with organisational values to steer individuals to act appropriately and make choices that advance the organisation’s goals and strategy whilst generating and sustaining high morale and productivity.

-Maintaining credibility and influence across departments to gain confidence from key stakeholders that systems and solutions will meet, if not surpass, business expectations.

-Managing the budget and allocating funding to areas of the service based on data driven decisions about priorities and business value in order to ensure best value spend.

-Ability to keep abreast of technology trends, such as emerging standards, to embrace and motivate teams to implement new technology opportunities gaining business value

-Proven experience in large-scale engineering experience in an

-Agile development environment preferably with C#

Applicants, as a minimum, should be educated to SCQF Level 9 (SVQ 4/Degree)and/or be able to demonstrate direct relevant experience for this role.
