Cloud Migration Specialist - Finance - Newcastle- Up to £65,000

With major enterprise clients pushing to move away from the idea of Cloud on premise, many are looking at AWS and the focus of the secure private cloud.

This financial based powerhouse are looking at developing further work on their trade platforms in the North East and as a result are actively hiring migration specialists and even upskilling them further in their Docker and Kubernetes experience.

They have actively stressed that the key focus here is not 'lift and shift' work but they are looking for Cloud professionals who can advise and have challenging discussions with their clients for the overall progress of their project.

This is especially the case when working with trade platforms that are governed by regulation and are essentially responsible for the financial return to the business when dealing with some of their transatlantic clients and traders.

Requirements

- Experience with AWS/ Azure/ Google Cloud

- Knowledge on Financial Services and container software such as Docker/ Kubernetes/ Open shift.

- Experience as a Senior or Acting Senior within a team of DevOps Engineers.
