I am currently working closely with a well-established software company who are recruiting into their Glasgow based product development team. This team are producing advanced software solutions that are used by the UK Police force and Fire Services. Their newest product team have a requirement for a Senior Java Developer to work on the full development life-cycle of their latest product.

Responsibilities

* Responsible for the design, development, testing and documentation of the product

* Supporting existing customers and making to changes to existing product where necessary

* Working with multiple teams across the company to integrate microservices with other software components

* Working as a key member in the architecture team for the products microservices

Requirements

* Strong Java programming skills

* Experience developing server-side applications

* Significant experience providing mentoring and technical leadership

* Experience with RESTful APIs

* Skilled with developing and deploying solutions with Azure

* Experience with Microservices (using Docker and Kubernetes)
