Senior Project Manager - SC Cleared

We are looking for an SC Cleared Senior Project Manager to join our team of consultants at Experis. Working on-site with one of our clients you will be responsible for:

Outline of duties:

* Provide focused leadership for the safe and effective delivery of Complex Projects to:

- meet contractual obligations

- achieve excellent customer satisfaction

- deliver contracted (or ahead of) schedule and cash flow

- achieve as contracted (or improved) margin

- provide accurate financial forecasts

* Delivery of Complex projects that:

- Include an element of complexity or significant risk that could have an impact from a legal/regulatory, operational effectiveness and reputational perspective

- Includes success criteria that is difficult to achieve and will have a major impact on the success of the customer

- involves a broad range of stakeholders often with competing interests

- includes a number of subcontracts, some with significant development work on the critical path.

- are delivered through a large multi-disciplinary project team across multiple locations

- has tight timescales and/or challenging budgets

* Application of appropriate project governance in-line with the company's Framework

* Leadership of the project team

* Develop and maintain relationships with the customers

* Management of external and internal stakeholders

* Generate accurate work load forecasts to support resource planning within the business and functions

* Develop and maintain key project document s including Project Management Plan, Risk Register and Project Reporting Pack

* Effective communication to internal stakeholders of project progress, risks and timely escalation of project issues

* Conduct Lessons Learnt during the course and at the completion of each project

Key Skills

* Project Management competence equivalent to IPMA level C

* Able to exercise good commercial judgement

* Strong negotiation skills

* Good communication and interpersonal skills

* Knowledge of other functional disciplines related to project delivery (e.g. finance)

* An understanding of budgeting and resource allocation

* An understanding of the wider Defence and Security context in preferred
