Support Engineer (Windows Linux AWS Azure Networking Firewalls DNS VPN). Would you like to take on a challenging and varied role as a Support Engineer within a dynamic and growing company? Successful financial software house is seeking an experienced Support Engineer to be responsible for ensuring that their network remains stable and available at all times. This is a high responsibility and challenging role as you will be the sole Support Engineer in the London office, with the rest of the team based in Johannesburg. This role will require an experienced Support Engineer to take on a number of responsibilities including; maintaining network firewalls, maintaining and configuring Domain Group Policies, installing, configuring and testing operating systems, application software and system management tools and maintaining and configuring cloud infrastructure on both AWS and Azure.

Based in the City, you will join a friendly company that will encourage you to reach your full potential as a Support Engineer.

Requirements:

*Experienced Support Engineer who is capable of taking on a challenging and varied role where you will be working as the sole Support Engineer

*Hands-on experience with Windows, Linux and ideally Mac OS environments

*Solid cloud experience in AWS or Azure (ideally both)

*Networking experience

*Experience with the following: VPN, Firewalls, Disaster Recovery, DNS, Group Policies, Active Directory

*Excellent communication skills
