Lead Workshop Engineer
Ipswich/Suffolk
£40,000 - £45,000 + Benefits
Excellent opportunity for an experienced Workshop Engineer to join an innovating start-up company, where you can grow and expand the workshop and step into a managerial role.
Are you an experienced Workshop Engineer? Do you want to play a big part within a new start-up company and progress into workshop manager?
This innovating company specialise in the design and build of environmentally friendly packaging equipment, focussing on a range of products that can be easily recycled, and are now looking to expand as they bring their products to market.
In this role you will be building capital equipment from scratch, using a blend of mechanical and electrical skills. You will work along-side the Design Teams in order to rectify problems, help with research for future products, and to test and assemble the machinery required. You will also make your own tooling using Mills and Lathes, and learn CAD/CAM skills to assist with design.
Therefore this role would ideally suit either a Workshop Engineer with experience with machine building who wants to work for an innovative company with great progression to workshop manager.
