SC Automation Tester

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Automation Tester to design, develop and execute test plans and scenarios for a major organisation in Hook or Aldershot.

Description:

Under minimal direction, utilizing an appropriate testing methodology, applies one or more specializations as the basis for developing testing scenarios for a test level to be executed on a project. Participates as a member of an Agile team, working with product owner and wider dev teams. Designs testing scenarios and test cases that will demonstrate conformance to all functional and non-functional requirements, relative to the test level, as defined in business or technical specifications. Collaborates with others in analyzing collected requirements to ensure test plans and identified testing solutions meet customer needs and expectations. Plans, manages, and executes tasks related to the production of testing scenarios, test cases, test scripts, and test data for the purpose of maintaining quality service whilst adhering to customer delivery milestones. Identifies inadequacies and improvement opportunities in the methods/standards and recommends changes. Stays current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies. Maintains conformance to security, integrity, and business continuity controls and documents.

Skills/Experience:

* Typically a technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 6 years related experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience.

* 2 or more years of experience in delivering automated/lean testing services for various project size.

* Ability to design test plans, testing scenarios and test cases, and test and validate specialized business and technical information technology related programs.

* Ability to identify, analyze, and devise solutions to business and technical information technology problems.

* Ability to interact with customers regarding business and technical information technology needs.

* Experience of working in Agile teams delivering digital projects and solutions
