Location: Alfreton some days in the week, other work can be done remotely

Period: November 2018 - March 2019 (approx. 5 months)

Rates: will consider full and half day rate options (Bill Rate of approx. £550 full day/ £275 half day)

Description:

Technical Architect/Lead - Enterprise Integration

The technical architect/lead for integration will work as a part of the delivery team and should possess the technical skills required to participate in designing and delivering the integration management platform for a Public Sector - Enabling Technologies programme. He/she will have an in-depth knowledge of integration products. He/she will know how to integrate various types of software and components, and should be able to identify client issues, handle them effectively, envision and architect suitable solutions and discuss them with the delivery teams, clients and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

-Mentor, direct and train the client staff and perform as the technical lead.

-Develop a working strategy and submit regular status reports to project manager and other stakeholders

-Act as a subject matter expert in the translation of system requirements into design documentation.

-Conduct design architect reviews, gap analysis and assessment when required

-Create and maintain a formal data structures, data description and data architecture; including data models, data definitions (logical, physical, and conceptual), data flow diagrams, data dictionaries f, etc.

-Understand the customer's business needs, system functionality and business processes to maintain the integration between applications and develop the data design

-Resolve all types of design, test and integration and data issues.

-Work closely with client’s technical teams to validate and refine requirements

-Produce detailed specifications and design integration flows

-Architect, design and implement small to large scale integration solutions adopting various technologies such as Oracle Integration Cloud.

-Design specifications, develop data strategy and high-level integration architecture documentation.

-Build data mapping, define integrate flows that provide the means integrating the target and source systems.

-Select the systems and capabilities to meet business integration requirements, evaluate new techniques and options for improved integration functionality.

-Assist and advise delivery teams in the configuration, testing, implementation and support of technical architecture solutions.

-Provide expertise in the definition, adoption and adherence to enterprise Integration architecture strategies, processes, and standards.

-Provide technology solutions to delivery teams to ensure that integration designs support the business requirements while adhering to standard design patterns.

Guide technical solution designs that address the needs of key stake holders from the business, infrastructure, and operations areas on other projects.

Skills:

-Experience in one or more integration technologies.

-Knowledge/experience of Oracle Integration Cloud or similar iPaaS products/technology would be useful but not essential.

-Experience in integration design patterns and architecture principles.
