Software Engineer - (Delphi)

Rates: £400-£450 / day

My Client is looking for someone to join their team of highly technical multi-disciplined and enthusiastic engineers and project managers; and be responsible for the development of the data gathering software ASPS used on the Maritime Ranges across the UK.

This role offers the opportunity to get involved and help create the solution, across the whole lifecycle from feasibility to acceptance with challenging and unique engineering projects.

Some travel is involved; which will include Range visits and multi (UK) site working and collaboration with partner teams and companies.

The Role:

You will be joining a team of highly technical multi-disciplined engineers and contributing to the development and installation of software in UK ranges.

You will work numerous stakeholders in a diverse team; activities include:

* Development and Optimisation of Delphi code

* Upgrading legacy Delphi to run on Windows 10

Role responsibilities and challenges:

* Development of Delphi

* Resolution of Software Problem Reports (SPR) from Formal Tests.

* Identifying and resolving performance related issues

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

* Expert Delphi Knowledge.

* Adherence to Coding Standards

Due to the nature of the role, candidates require SC Clearance or be willing/eligible to undergo the process.
