We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join a world leading financial services company based in Manchester. They are a highly reputable Reinsurance organisation with a very impressive portfolio of international clients.

This role will be responsible for leading the analysis of business requirements and demands across the business value chain, providing key analytical skills that will enable business problems to be understood and the subsequent requirements for IT systems documented, tested and delivered

Experience required:

* Demonstrable experience in analysis of business demands, deriving of system requirements and translating into system solutions

* Demonstrated multidisciplinary communications skills particularly with business stake holders (end user and management levels)

* Strong analytical, facilitation and presentation skills

* Track record of successful implementations that delivered value to the business, resulting in measurable business outcomes

* Demonstrable experience of using use cases, UML, user stories

* Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile project management methodologies e.g. Prince 2 or PMI, Scrum.

* Demonstrable experience on 'As is' and 'to be' process modelling.

* Experience of using SQL or willingness to learn.

* Good Knowledge of Database applications, design methods and approaches
