We are currently looking for an IT Cloud Infrastructure Architect for our client in Düsseldorf

Start: 22.10.18

End: 30.04.19 (option for perm or interim freelance)

Tasks:

- Manage the service provider for the outsourced operational considering cost-effectiveness and compliance with

service level agreements

- Develop the necessary processes for controlling the provision of services and constantly improve them

- Consult and approve Cloud environment design and demonstrate Technical Cloud Architectural

knowledge, work on design of production, staging, QA and development Cloud Infrastructures

- Supervise contract-related service provision, reporting and regularly carry-out-service-review

meetings with the outsourcing partners

- Handle escalations

- Responsible for the economic, technical and strategic planning of IT services (including scope of services, SLAs and

further development).

- Carry out and develop IT processes (e.g requirements, change, incident and problem mgt)

- Planning of the lifecycle (roadmap) for your services.

- Goal-oriented execution of complex IT projects in the field of virtual environments in an international

environment, including the sub-project management or project management for smaller topics.

- Develop and optimize the incident and problem management together with the service providers

- Design and implementation of ITIL processes

- Design of effective measuring methods / measurement models of the existing ITSM processes

- Support the implementation of processes in organization and tools

- Optimization of processes through continuous improvement (sustainable, continuous improvement) to increase

the value of the business

- Ensure compliance with the process and standards by the organization and supplier

- Ensure the highly available operation in coordination with the IT and business areas

- Jump in to resolve complex and complicated technical Issues that requires fast interaction and supporting the

Business needs

- Asses critical situations and put a plan to recover crises situation and follow up on the plan

- Interfere and drive technical solutions to recover business continuity

Skills:

- Previous experience in the service management of outsourced IT operations

- High customer orientation

- Load capacity and enforceability

- Knowledge of the IT application landscape and IT infrastructures in large companies

Must-have skills:

- Strong Azure based Cloud Architecture and migration skills

- Strong experience with Cloud and infrastructure components (server, storage, network, data, and

apps) to deliver end to end Cloud Infrastructure architectures .

- Experience as IT Infrastructure Architect (focus on Azure, cloud, server, storage and networking)

- Experience with MS Server Operating Systems, MS SQL, Sharepoint and .NET

- Experience in platform and cloud migrations, including of Mass Migration Toolsets

- Technical Windows and Linux Servers experience

- Experience in Realize and automation Process

- Deep technical knowledge in Infrastructure back end and applications support.

- Ability to work in an agile and dynamic manner.

- Working knowledge of ITIL practices.

- Willing to travel.
