Information Security Manager

An Information Security Manager is required with an extensive range of cyber and information security expertise, an excellent grasp of technologies used to deliver cloud-based services, digital web-based services, and the security controls needed to protect these services and the data they process and store.

Essential Skills and Experience:

1.Public sector experience

2.A back ground in risk assurance experience, building security systems and working in an ISO accredited environment

3.Able to evidence management of people and engagement of senior stakeholders-dealing with conflict

4.Be able to mitigate risk and advise how this affects the deliverables

5.Have a blend of technical and management experience

6.Proficient at working in a cloud security technology environment and being able to talk knowledgably about it .

7. Have a strong understanding of Data Protection Act and ensuring compliance for digital services

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 10 weeks.
