IT Contract / Vendor Manager - Commercial IT Contract Management and Support - Managed Service and Individual Vendor Agreements - Stakeholder Management - Commercial Relationship Management - Procurement - MCIPS or IACCM

My client a leading Energy and Utilities organisation are seeking an IT Contract and Vendor Manager with expertise in the management and support of contract and commercial aspects of IT contracts with key vendors (managed service and individual vendor agreements). A knowledge of either Software and Solution Delivery, Enterprise Services or Commodity Services is essential.

As the successful candidate you will be tasked with:

* Optimising contract values

* Conducting commercial reviews (Vendor Workpacks / SOW's/ Change Requests / CCN's)

* Triaging commercial engagements

* Supporting vendor relationship management

* Conducting complex negotiations

* Vendor engagement data analysis

* Delivering commercial and financial clarity for each vendor

* Assisting in the definition, implementation and management of contract and commercial management processes to drive consistency and efficiency

* Supporting the management of contract claim and legal disputes through contract investigation, interpretation and evidence gathering, ensuring that issues are resolved quickly

* Supporting the Director of Vendor Management in identifying and mitigating commercial risks, ensuring compliance with global legislative and regulatory

Core Skills

* Expertise in contract management of large enterprise wide IT Managed Service Agreements

* A good understanding of legal constructs in complex contracts and experience of contract interpretation and agreement.

* Stakeholder and Relationship Management including negotiation / influencing

* Driving commercial value and performance through major contracts

* Skilled at working with and through multi-regional/global teams

* Ability to define and measure benefits, including Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)

* Ability to deal with ambiguity and the corresponding ability to make decisions or recommendations on incomplete information

* Knowledge of the IT Operating model and the key functions and interdependencies desirable

* An understanding of market/vendor dynamics in the wider IT market place
