Essential

* Evidence of successful management and delivery of complex projects within the MOD

* Evidence of working collaboratively as a member of a team and building strong relationships with colleagues in other disciplines as well as industry

* Evidence of Scaled Agile (SAFe) Delivery

Desirable

* PRINCE 2 or MSP qualified

* SAFe4 practitioner

Responsibilities

Support to Agile:

Support the SAFe ceremonies as directed by the Authority Lead including but not limited to:

* Attend VS Kanban workshop 1's to represent Authority view in defining and prioritising Capabilities/Features (in association with CDO, RM and Army HQ)

* PI Planning workshops

* Release Plan planning workshop.

* Daily Scrum Team stand up.

* End of sprint authority only meeting - every 2 weeks.

* Sprint (fortnightly), System and Solution Demo

* Scrum of Scrum meeting - every 2 weeks post end of relevant sprint

* Maturity Review Scenario based Workshop - end of each Release Plan

Project Reporting (Monitor and Control)

* Provide input to Project Leads and to Programme Controls reporting

* Manage Assurance of Deliverables as per Assurance Process

* Manage Decisions as per Decision Process

* Monitor project progress to performance, cost and time

* Monitor and update on progress against the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS); the status of Risk, Assumptions, Issues, Dependency & Opportunities (RAIDO) and track and report project performance.

Risk

* Identify Risks/Issues as per Risk Process and propose and Implement and manage mitigations.

Change Control

* Raise Change Controls as per Change Process and manage the Changes through to Implementation

Dependencies

* Support the dependency planning process and once identified plan authority resources to support development and review of scrum generated outputs.

* Support PI dependency (between GD and Authority) identification and associated review categorisation.

* Negotiate availability of authority resource and report conflicts to authority Lead.

LFE

* Identify input into LFE activities - specifically during Sprint and Release Plan retrospective activities and PI Planning retrospective activities

Support to the Collaborative process:

* Attend Collaborative Meetings (Risk, Schedule, Metrics, Change) as required

* Attend PRMM and PRWM as required

* Attend VS Weekly Stand Up

* Attend Working Groups (e.g. HFI, Platform, Security, Safety)
