Position: Sales Support Team Leader

Location: Manchester

Salary: £250000 - £30000 per annum

Job type: Permanent

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE;

To lead, mentor and inspire (contribute as required) a team capable of providing day to day sales support to external departments and customers with the aim of providing outstanding service and assistance in closing profitable deals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES;

Promote and sell Hilclare lighting products and associated Group opportunities e.g. Vickers Electronics to new and existing Electrical Contractors, Electrical Wholesalers and where applicable, M+E Consultants, Architects and Local Authoritys.

Liaise with external departments and customers to meet and exceed satisfactory levels of customer service

Provide clear and consistent leadership of the Sales Support team

Respond to requests for product, availability, leadtime, price, etc

Action administration tasks such as account opening forms, quotations, order processing, order progressing, data entry, etc

Lead the team to meet and exceed agreed KPIs (eg phone count/quotations completed ontime)

Respond to management requests in a timely manner

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE;

Results driven

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Proven team leader with organizational and planning ability

Strong desire to build a career in sales.
