IT Project Manager
Backbone is an IT managed service provider and cloud hosting provider that specialises in providing small and medium sized businesses with a comprehensive range of local on-premise and cloud based IT services.
With a growing portfolio of over 175 customers, we operate in a very busy and demanding space where needs change fast and new projects and opportunities are constantly becoming available.
As such, we are now seeking an IT Project Manager to join our team in central London and help us support customers across London and the South-East.
- Salary of £45,000+

As the IT Project Manager, you will take on a hugely varied and engaging role that will see you managing a portfolio of between 10 and 50 projects at any one time providing a range of services and solutions to customers.
Supported by our Service Delivery Team, you’ll be involved with everything from office moves to telephony for customers operating in varied sectors right across London and the South-East.
Specifically, your role will involve:
- Managing the full project lifecycle and the delivery of key projects
- Building and managing Delivery Team
- Managing multiple complex projects of varied size and enterprise-wide impact
- Liaising with customers and account managing key relationships
To be considered as the IT Project Manager, you will need:
- Previous experience of IT project management
- Previous experience of managing multiple projects of different scales and timelines
- Excellent communication skills
You will also need to possess an understanding of the following:
- Cloud generally
- Office 365
- Video Conferencing
- Internet connectivity
- Office moves
- Desktop client refresh
- Server infrastructure refresh
