Active Directory Migration Architect
To join a team of Solution and Technical Architects. The engineering force behind the consumption of cloud services on Microsoft Azure and Hybrid solutions leading architecture design for clients in Media, Retail, Financial Services, Construction, Utilities and Transport.
Key responsibilities include:
Client Facing Consultancy - technical engagements for clients on Windows Active Directory infrastructure working closely with Project Teams and Architects and facilitating customer workshops.
Design - working collaboratively with stakeholders to produce high and low-level designs and documentation.
Implementation - providing build authority during the solution process working closely with Architects to produce compelling and workable solutions.
Technical Escalation - providing expert support as technical build authority on escalation issues.
Customer Experience Management - work in partnership with customers, sales, project management and service to engineer remarkable customer experiences that support the growth of the client and our practice.

Understanding and demonstrable experience of inter-forest and intra-forest migrations
Implications on PKI and Object Identifier changes
Understanding of AD DNS, and associated security models and implications
Understanding of AD Sites and Services, IP network design
Understanding of requirements, considerations and limitations relating to functional level changes
Experience of FRS to DFS-R migration
Experience of GPO analysis and design
Understanding of implications of user migrations from a user-experience side, as part of AD migrations
Mandatory request migration skills and experience for Active Directory and Exchange
Quest Migration Manager experience for AD and Exchange
QMM, QMMAD and QMMEX are required
Demonstrable experience of using Quest to do Active Directory and Exchange migrations
